From a calm Sufi night to a crazy neon party, Sahil and Ridhima's wedding amped up the fun factor.

Sahil and Ridhima chose the stunning environs of Fairmont Jaipur to host their lavish wedding which was planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Fiestro Events. Bride Ridhima shares some highlights of the festivities that were captured by WeddingSutra Favorite – ShutterInk.


How They Met

It is said that love can arrive in our lives at any moment, and lucky are those who recognize it. Sahil and Ridhima certainly realized that they were each other’s soulmates when they were introduced by a common acquaintance. For him, it was love at first sight, and their romance deepened beautifully over time.


The Proposal

The couple shares, “We would love to recommend each and every person who made our wedding a success Shutterink, Fiestro Events, singers Gurnazar Singh, Ankit Batra (pheras), and Hamsar Hayat (Sufi Night), as well as Inderpreet Kaur for my makeup and all our designers for our clothes.”


Weddings Function
Neon party

For the Sufi night, the decor was dominated by beautiful blooms, with a floral chandelier at the center of the stage and a white trellis with pink blossoms and fronds peeking through it. “We always wanted a soothing evening with artistic decor. So, we decided to go ahead with a Moroccan theme for this function. Hamsar Hayat played that evening, and he made the atmosphere so soothing that we all were lost in admiration.”

Haldi and Sainth

The wedding festivities took off with a haldi ceremony, where the couple’s loved ones gathered to celebrate the auspicious and fun ritual. The decor was resplendent with bright, colorful drapes and marigold blooms. The bride chose an amber-colored outfit with mirror-work on the bodice, while the groom wore a white kurta and bottoms with a floral-print bandhgala. Zorawar and Jasmine enjoyed every bit of their haldi, which involved games, laughter, dhols and a lot of dancing. The photographers captured them sharing a sweet moment on a swing that was accented with floral streamers.

Sangeet and After Party

The sangeet evening was hosted in the hotel’s ballroom and saw many entertaining dance performances. The after party made the evening all the more grand with Gurnazar and his band playing live music for the rest of the night.green shawl. Surrounded by their loved ones, the couple sought blessings from the almighty as they entered into the eternal bond of marriageThe serene and soulful Sufi night was followed by a rocking neon party. The bride shares, “The theme for this event was something out of the box, and we loved it for our after party.”


Wedding

For the Radha-Krishna themed wedding, Ridhima wore a pale grey lehenga with golden embellishments. Her look was completed with heavy polki jewellery featuring green uncut stones, a ‘maang tikka‘ (forehead ornament) and an ornate nose ring. The groom donned a pale grey and gold sherwani and a floral turban. The couple was flanked by multiple candelabras carried by the entertainers for the evening. They made their way towards the stage for the garlanding ceremony with sparklers adding to the magical moment. Ridhima made her entry flanked by her brothers who held a floral canopy over her head. Fireworks lit up the sky and ShutterInk captured candid moments as the couple as they took their pheras.

The bride shares, “We had our grand garlanding ceremony with a Ganga Arti theme on the reflecting pool of Fairmont, which is a beautiful venue. The pheras were the best part of our wedding with Ankit Batra and the soulful Raga band adding to the beauty of the proceedings. I always dreamt of having a Radha Krishna themed wedding. Our Planners made it possible and all our guests loved it. Our photo booth was made up of 108 names of Radha Krishna.”

Reception

5. Go for an outfit that’s not only comfortable but also suits your personal style.
