“We were introduced by a mutual friend. Even though our initial meeting in Vancouver was as strangers, it did not feel like we were meeting for the first time. We clicked pretty well and traveled frequently between Toronto and Vancouver to spend as much time as we could together!”

“We chose Fiestro Events as our wedding planner, and their talented team helped in making our dream wedding memorable. Right from the wedding location selection to the artists and the photographer, their team organized each aspect of our wedding. Zorawar says, “Decor and color themes were all planned by Jasmine and me (thanks to Pinterest). We had a clear idea of what we wanted and Fiestro Events did a good job executing everything. They did a really good job with the Baraat as well.”

The couple was particularly impressed by the wedding photography team, praising them. Zorawar says, “Hire Oragraphy! They were the best wedding vendors we’ve personally dealt with.”

Ring Ceremony and Sangeet

For the ring ceremony, the bride and groom opted for contemporary looks. While Zorawar wore a suit, Jasmine donned a stunning evening gown as they arrived hand-in-hand to the venue. The guests were in high spirits and cheered for the happy couple as they exchanged rings. Keeping up with the excitement, the couple and their wedding guests made their way to the dance floor and grooved to heady beats of desi music all night long.

Haldi and Sainth

The wedding festivities took off with a haldi ceremony, where the couple’s loved ones gathered to celebrate the auspicious and fun ritual. The decor was resplendent with bright, colorful drapes and marigold blooms. The bride chose an amber-colored outfit with mirror-work on the bodice, while the groom wore a white kurta and bottoms with a floral-print bandhgala. Zorawar and Jasmine enjoyed every bit of their haldi, which involved games, laughter, dhols and a lot of dancing. The photographers captured them sharing a sweet moment on a swing that was accented with floral streamers.

Wedding

The wedding ceremony of the couple was a grand affair, with hundreds of lights illuminating the palace and fireworks lighting up the sky. Dressed in a black sherwani with a maroon turban and shawl, the groom made his entry to the venue on an elephant, while the bride arrived in a floral palanquin. The couple socialized with their guests and danced to romantic numbers as they joyfully celebrated their union..
